Ilan Ramon was my cousin's son. I loved him just like my own son. His outstanding character, intelligence, talents and charisma showed from very early childhood on.My husband and I went to Florida to witness the launch with trepidation. But Ilan, who found time to call me before the launch to thank us for coming down reassured me that he had no doubt that he will be back soon- safe and sound. Oh, how much I wanted to believe him! When the tragedy occurred, I felt like part of me died together with him. It is now 10 years later, but our pain of losing Ilan and his son Assaf is almost too much to bear. In times like this the only way to find solace is to pray to Ha-shem for their holy souls and their salvation. Reply

Amazing ... Powerful Just Amazing
Speaking in front of 13,000 people... what a Kiddush Hashem (not to forget the other thousands who watched it live on C-Span Including Ilan's widow Rona)
