Event Date: 20 Av 5742 - August 09, 1982

In Kfar Chabad, there will soon begin the Bar Mitzvah celebration for the orphans of Israel’s fallen heroes. They commemorate their sacrifice, for their fathers gave their lives defending the Holy Land and its Holy Nation.

Because of their sacrifice, G-d gives each boy extra power to influence the future of the Holy Land; to strengthen its people by making them aware of their essential bond to G-d; and to bring peace to the region and to the entire world through the Mitzvah of Tefillin, of which G-d says, “The nations of the world will see G-d’s Name upon you, and they will fear you.”

By living as proud Jews, as befitting for the Holy Nation, these boys give the greatest Nachas to their fathers in the World of Truth, who watch over them and pray for their well-being and the well-being of all the Jews of Israel.
